This class is being offered at SEW WHATS NEW.

It is clear as quilters we don't understand the concept 'Less is More'. Over time we've acquired a unique collection of fabrics. In this class you will have the opportunity to pull together a variety of fabrics that will bring your quilt to life...and yes...More IS Better! We will start by learning how to make strata units and then we will move on to create a visually pleasing quilt. One 5 hour class,10:30-4 includes a 1/2 hour lunch break. Rosie Lenoci

RUGS FROM SCRAPS

From 10:30 am to 1:30 pm

Rug Weaving
How cool is this? Learning how to make rugs with leftover fabric from previous projects! We all have them....a 1/4 yard here, a few strips there-we wouldn't dream of trashing them, but the clutter can be disheartening! We will cut your leftover fabric into strips and then weave them on a frame into a rug. The end result is incredibly satisfying, not to mention beautiful. This class comes with a warning-you will not be able to stop at one rug! One 3 hour class will get you started. Finish weaving at home. Choose 10:30am or 6 pm,$75. with Rosie Lenoci

PEGGY'S CHALLENGE

Peggy's Challenge
When given a bag filled with pre-cut squares what would a quilter do?That's right- and that's exactly what Peggy did.....she didn't waste a second! Creativity is the main focus of this class. Students will learn to piece a backgound using a fusible grid system, then you'll learn how to make unique applique butterflies, flowers and such. Thread play will complete the look.Two classes with Peggy Petrucco
