Rosie Lenoci and Peggy Petrucco are proud to introduce The Quilting Bug of Long Island. For the last 20 years both of us have been working in the quilting and textile business. Ten years ago, we met while working at the Fabric Mill. But we had our own dream, to create for ourselves a shop where the atmosphere was quaint and the classes offered would be held in a warm and intimate setting with specialized teachers and a room filled with laughter.
With all of our experience we noticed that there was a need for a quality quilt shop on the South Shore of Nassau County. Week after week, we went over the ups and downs of business ownership and we finally decided to go for it!
We found a great location that would meet the needs of our customers, one of which is to be close to mass transit and all major highways. We are located one block north of the Massapequa train station on Broadway at the corner of Broadway and New York Avenue.
